What’s the difference between Focus and Essentials?
Focus is twenty set hours a month, aimed at one specific area of your business. You know exactly what you’re getting and exactly what it costs.
Essentials and up have no hourly cap. I handle what needs handling, across your whole business, for however long it takes – which in practice is well beyond twenty hours. You’re not watching a clock, and neither am I.
How do I know which one I need?
Most people don’t, and that’s completely fine. Tell me what’s draining you on a call and I’ll tell you honestly what I’d recommend – including if that’s something smaller than you were expecting.
Do I have to commit long-term?
Basics and Focus have a three-month minimum, which is roughly how long it takes for new systems to settle in and start paying off. One-time projects have no commitment at all.
Can I start small and grow?
Yes, and many people do. A project or a Focus engagement is a good way to see how we work together before anything bigger.
What if I go over my hours on Basics or Focus?
We’ll talk about it. If it’s happening consistently, that usually means it’s time to move up – and I’d rather tell you that than quietly stretch and let the quality slip.
What can you actually help with?
More than most people expect. Inbox and calendar, yes – but also client onboarding and offboarding, cohort and group program management, retreat and event logistics, invoicing and payment chasing, proposals and contracts, CRM, travel, speaking and podcast coordination, launch backends, and the systems underneath all of it. If it’s operational and it’s eating your time, it’s probably something I can take.
How will we communicate?
However suits you – email, Slack, voice notes, whatever you already use. You’ll get a weekly written briefing either way, so you always know where things stand without having to ask.
How do you handle confidentiality?
Carefully, and in writing. We sign a confidentiality agreement before I see anything in your business, and it covers your clients’ information as well as your own.
I only ask for access to what the work needs. Logins are shared through a password manager or delegated access, never over email, and you can remove my access at any time. When we finish working together, I hand everything back and remove myself from your systems.
I spent thirteen years handling sensitive material for federal directors and law firm partners. Yours gets the same care.
What happens if you’re sick or away?
You’ll hear it from me first. For planned time off, I’ll tell you at least two weeks ahead, and we’ll agree on what gets done before I go and what can wait. If something comes up unexpectedly, you’ll hear from me the same day with what’s covered and what’s moving.
Everything I run for you is documented, so it never lives only in my head. And if I’m ever out for more than a few days, I can bring in a vetted Executive Assistant from The Vantage, my placement firm, to cover under the same confidentiality agreement – with your approval first.
Do you only work with coaches?
Coaches are my specialty and my favorite people to work with. I also work with founders and service-based business owners.
Where are you based?
I’m American, currently living abroad, and I keep guaranteed core hours in Eastern time.
